I’m an illustrator and educator. I work in Editorial Illustration, Children’s Books, Comics, and Advertising and I teach as an Associate Professor of Illustration at Lesley University College of Art and Design in Cambridge, MA. 

Born in Lamesa, Texas, raised in Austin, I now live and work in New England with my wife, daughter, son, and two cats.

My clients include The New York Times, Scholastic, Simon & Schuster, CBS/Showtime, and ESPN, and my work has been recognized by The Society of Illustrators, American Illustration, 3x3, Junior Library Guild, Slate Cartoonist Studio, School Library Journal, Horn Book Magazine, NPR, and The New York Times.
